Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello everyone! So I got this addon a couple days ago since I saw a fellow mage in my guild using it. Needless to say it' awesome! makes giving 30 ppl in a raid food/water waaaaay faster also being able to configure a great amount of little aspects of the trade. Now yesterday another fellow guildie told me about this topic: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=23440

Now, it seems pretty clear to me that this guy wasn't banned because of tradeDispenser alone but because he was using it along with some other addons/scripts/whatever to avoid AFK and gain money via tips (wich you can also configure in tradeDispenser) My question is regarding one answer from an admin that the previous refered post has:

the account in question will stay banned permanently according to our Terms of Use as the player indeed used an automated program to provide items (sometimes received money) through automated transaction & discussion/whispers, with the capability of staying online 24 hours, 7 days a week.

So I just want kind of an official answer; Is there a possibility of getting banned just for using tradeDispenser in a legit way?(For raids, not afking, not gaining money etc)

You just answer your own question he was not banned because he used water dispenser alone but third party programs to avoid afk.

Just because a few retards assume the ban was issued because of an addon, it doesn't mean it actually was.

Admins clearly stated the ban was issued because he was using a bot to stay online (while also using the addon).

The addon itself does not let you stay online for "24 hours, 7 days a week" and doesn't automatically craft water either.

It's just a very common thing to jump to conclusions about "unjustified bans" because bashing a staff with literally no interest in falsely banning you seems like a good idea to some of the less intelligent forum members.

In all fairness. The whole "Silithus miners" ordeal, did nothing to bolster confidence in the Admins though. The admins are not infallible gods, they are people like you and me and they can sometimes make the wrong decision. The only question that remains is this: "is it incompetence, or corruption?". In this particular case it seems like the right decision though. TradeDispenser had nothing to do with it. If the function for an addon to work is in the games API it should NEVER EVER be a bannable offence but this guy was using 3rd party bot-software from the looks of it.

I wish we could get an official reply on this topic considering the GM's throw out bans like candy at a fucking parade. I would like to use this addon but I'm not taking ANY risks when people are getting banned for using their professions or queueing for battlegrounds..

Read both threads and couldn't find evidence that he really was using a 3rd party tool.
