Fuck me there's even a guild named <Reserved> - who reserve loot in trade chat..

Since when has loot reservation become commonplace?

Right now, as I am typing, someone is in trade looking for a Strat UD tank.... and has the fucking mount reserved.

...

...

my brain

First, the guild has nothing to do with reserving loot, it's just a name. Everybody reserves the fuck they want, you can just join their group or not.

Everybody reserves things, as i do. For example if i need the baron cloak, there will be people willing to come if they need other items, so everybody wins.

Obviously reserving a cosmetic such as the Deathcharger is not the same, but since the drop of the mount is 0,02%, who the fuck would care?

If you don't like reserves, make your own group.

Really don't understand why people constantly bitch about this.

Sorry if I sounded rude. Just an observation didn't mean to call you out specifically.

If you come to an agreement between group members, fine. But advertising that you're taking loot ahead of time - and need their help - is selfish.

You don't understand that it's selfish to ask me for my time with the odds stacked in your favor?

In a game which ultimately requires forty of you assholes to be in a group & somewhat coherent, this is not a mentality you want to adopt or promote.

Let's say:
I want a specific item from a dungeon and thus reserve it for me, 4 players who need other items from that dungeon enter the group
--> everyone is happy

Need the same item as the one reserving it?
--> join an other group or make your own one and reserve that item

This is more an argument of principle than efficacy.

This happens because there is overpopulation of certain classes/roles, especially in context of 5man dungeons. If you have trouble finding/making groups for items you need, you might have shoot yourself in foot at character creation screen ;)

Then don't join the group?

I'm really not seeing what the problem is.
