Is it legal to change gold from faction to faction by the neutral AH?

Example:

I want to give gold to my horde character, from my alliance character.

Go to Neutral AH on my Horde character.
Post X shitty item for 300G.
Go to Neutral AH on my Alliance character.
Buy X shitty item for 300G.
??
300G on my horde character.... :geek:

I read somewhere, that it aint possible to see your own actions if it is from same account. If this is true, is it still legal to get a friend to do it for me then? I mean, he post the item, he gets the gold and then trade/send me whatever? Is this still legal?

I just do not want to risk getting banned really......

It's always been legal to trade gold cross-faction with neutral AH.

Yes, it is allowed. However, I have heard that there are bots constantly scanning the neutral AH for low priced item to be bought instantly for this reason.

Why would you be posting a low priced item if you were moving gold? You're thinking of moving valuable items.
