I didnt have time to find informations about this topic...I hope Nostalrius plans on connecting BGs...is there any chance for that?

Once the PVE server catches up content-wise, it'd be worth considering.

They said several times that this will NOT happen. Think about it, we will be starting to get AQ gear by the time the average player on PVE has MC gear... they are several content patches behind.
The only way this could possibly happen is when Naxx has been released on both servers(a year and a half from now).

While i somewhat enjoy playing vanila as casual,personaly i dont care too much about it,it is certanly not my favorite thing pvp and class mechanics wise(though better then retail last exp),but thinking more about future ,you know TBC/Wotlk server.Merging these 2 servers into 1 battlegroup would not be a bad thing...more people,faster queves...

Right now you can't merge the servers' BGs. Yeah, let's have fresh 60s in greens/5 man blues and really shitty MC gear against people in full R14/T2.

Thanks for the answer !Im aware that is not possible right now,but in future,lets hope so...

Pretty sure they've said multiple times that they're not connecting the battlegrounds between servers. It'd be too much of a logistical headache, if it's even possible.

Maybe years from now when both servers are on the same patch, but for the foreseeable future, no.

Cross realm features such as connected battlegrounds are possible and this has already been done by other private servers.

Nostalrius said that once the PvE server catches up with the content of the PvP server, they might consider it.

If you're asking me: this should definitely be aimed for as it allows lower level brackets to open up more BGs and should result in shorter queue times on level 60

That's why I'm in favour of it once the new server catches up.
