Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

While under the invisibility effect of Gnomish Cloaking device, I noticed you are instantly removed from invisibility when you start casting. However, when looking back at some vanilla wow pvp movies, the invisibility effect seems to last until a cast is completed, not when it begins.

At 1:23, mage uses Gnomish Cloaking Device and casts Pyroblast. The invisibility effect doesn't drop until the casts goes off.

I was just wondering, is this a bug on Nostalrius or is it intended?

I tried to make an account to post on bug tracker but it is still waiting to be authorized (been a few weeks) .

This happens with most/all stealth effects, IIRC.

On retail, you could Aimed Shot from Shadowmeld, but on Nost, it unstealths you as soon as you start casting.

Whichever patch nerfed meld+aimedshot nerfed casting + any type of invis. RIP meld/stealth Hearthstone/Mounting.

It's not a bug. It's an intentional side effect of the shadowmeld + aimedshot nerf.

Is the invisibility effect from Gnomish Cloaking Device suppose to act exactly as Shadowmeld though? I get that it should perhaps work that way for Shadowmeld but Gnomish Cloaking Device clearly worked differently unless it was changed in some later vanilla patch. I couldn't find any information regarding that though.
