Sending gold to an alt on different account

I've been planing to make an alt on a different account for some time and was just wondering is there a gold limit i can send to my second account without getting flagged for goldtrading or whatever. I've read multiple posts with people getting banned by sending gold to themselves. (If those stories are true that is).
Anyways, if someone happen to know how much i can send i'd be greatful and i would like to purchase gear and enchants to make the leveling of my 2nd character abit more efficient. Thanks in advance.
