Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello guys and girls. Older wow players will find this familiar and love that it is still alive. Newer players may find this an excellent resource for finding what can potentially drop/may be useful, for their various characters. Keep in mind to know your stat priority for your class/spec though, as some gear listed may be something you can equip, but not the ideal stats.

Kaliban's Class Loot List (wow-loot.com) Had been taken down a while back, but I have found a complete archive backup of the site! You can select your class and it will list gear from dungeons to raids, even higher level BoEs for your class. You can filter it further by selecting your spec as well. This has everything in Vanilla Wow up to Zul'Gurub. Hope you all enjoy

And we all obviously can agree that giving Wild Growth Spaulders to a paladin is: "Terrible: Equipable, but almost certainly a waste of the item on this class"

I just like that it says Wild Growth Spaulders are more useful on a feral druid than they are on a holy paladin lmao
Jesus Christ on a halibut.. it says you can give "Sash of Whispered Secrets" to mages.. it literally does nothing but give them a few Mp5... this site is good for it's nostalgia value I guess, but nobody should ever take anything on this website serious in regards to gearing their character...

Yea it's actually impressively inaccurate.. it's sad because you can tell the guy spent a LOT of time on it, but literally everything is wrong.

Tanked, even though we are bashing the effectiveness of the website, it is still a cool find even if only for the Nostalgia factor, so thanks for bringing it up.

Back in the day there was at least one (terrible) guild that used that page for deciding who could get items from raids. My guess is that it happened a lot more than the one instance that I have first hand reports of. And that shouldn't be surprising since this was actually a fairly popular page, even though it was unanimously denounced as beyond retarded by anyone who understood the game.

I tended to use it initially back in the day as a quick reference as to "what could drop that I could potentially use" in any particular dungeon, which dungeon, which boss etc. I believe this was a good resource initially for something of that nature before atlasloot and things like that were available.
