Door blocking champion's hall

So I hit r7 and wanted to check out the Champion's Hall for fat loot. I went to Stormwind and as I walk up the stairs leading to the Champion's Hall I see this huge door blocking the portal.

Ofc makes me sad

why is there a door blocking it?

Zombies can lock the door... for some reason. But the living dead don't walk the streets of stormwind at this time of day.
