You all need to look into some toons of those that purchase in 0.0000001 second of being put into AH

I am on SKYPE we are counting down to 3 and Im still getting AH sniped by various toons lost like 20 Greater Eternal Essences and other shit

The only 'safe' way to transfer funds is to post things with a real cost attached to them, and eat the 15% cut.

I would suggest the GMs intermittently investigate AH bots

Ye the GMs don't do shit about them, best thing you can do is what Setup said, or add all of the bots you know and put something up you wouldn't mind losing at 1c buyout to check if there are any bots active.

As long as they aren't using a bot to stay online, they aren't in breach of the ToS anymore than mages with TradeDispenser.

The majority of the AH bots (which they are, despite any nerdvirgin insisting that there are people mashing "SEARCH" on the Auction House and mysteriously grabbing all very low-priced items in rapid succession for hours on end) are low-level Rogues stealthed around the auctioneers in Booty Bay). It's a pain in the ass, but if you can coordinate with 3 friends, have the person doing the trading be in Everlook (or Gadgetzan), and have the three friends attack/pull the 3 auctioneers in Booty Bay (killing them not necessary). Either tank the auctioneer NPC or evade it by jumping into the water.

( I shoulda taken a screenshot of my naked Paladin killing three level-1 female Orc Rogues gathered around Auctioneer Kresky with Consecration on Halloween. Not a particular "HA HA" funny screenshot, but appropo to this thread )

Noone is suggesting they are mashing search.

They are using a modified version of the addon auctioneer. (Specifically the BottomScanner module)

Put your items up for 1g and problem solved, nobody is gonna snipe items for 1g no matter the value
