i plan on leveling characters to sixty through five-man dungeons/instances only. though the pve realm would probably be the most sensible for this, the pvp realm is usually four times as populated. which realm would be easier for finding a group? again, i won't be world questing at all. thanks!

Are you a tank? Then it doesnt matter -- you'll always find a group on either server.
Are you a healer? Then it doesnt matter -- you'll never have trouble finding a group on either server.
Are you a shitty DPS? Then, uh, well -- it probably doesn't matter which server you're on.

Leveling in dungeons only is gonna be inefficient as fuck. Especially if you aren't a warrior, since you will be spending a lot of time searching for groups.

To add to what has already been said you also have to wait for your group to run to whatever dungeon you're doing. You're gonna be doing alot of waiting

Yeah if you're a tank you can pretty much run whatever you want.

I feel as PvE server stays young it will be easier to find 5 mans but as the time passes the higher population on PvP will always have more active 5 mans

Just a simple tip for people wanting to group for dungeons: Don't just spam in World chat (/join World) or LFG chat; do a /who, erase info and keep in the level range only, then start whispering people on the list for the roles you need to be filled in the group. Yes, it is a bit more work but it usually pays off. Most will turn down or not answer but you only need a few who will say "sure!"

Being proactive is always better than being passive!
