Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I made the mistake of going elemental LW, which sucks. The internet told me elemental was for feral/rogue, but upon closer instpection, all the good physical DPS craftables are tribal. Go figure. How do I drop the specialization? or do I have to start LW from 0?

If I recall, in Vanilla there was no mechanism to undo your specialization and you had to drop LW entirely & relearn all patterns from scratch. Later in TBC they introduced a way to pay some gold & learn another specialization without doing the quest (which is an odd way of doing it from an immersion standpoint but does save time.)

Im not entirely sure dropping lw and reskilling it works either. I faintly remember someone doing that and being stuck as what they were when they hit 225.

Earlier this week i was on the alliance side not sure what your on but when i went to the specialty trainer it has an option to unlearn tribal for me. I am not positive if it works because i have no desire to change the specialization. If i were you i would suggest going to the elemental trainer and try unlearning it from there. Food for thought i have no idea if it will screw up your specialization or not. Trying my best here =/

This would make the most sense - unlearn the specialty & do the appropriate quest for the other specialty. Would be nice if Nost implemented it like this...
