Reserving names for new PvP server

Are old/current character names that are already being used (or already generated) going to be reserved on the new PvP server? If this has been addressed, does someone have a link to the post?

yes, all going to be reserved for you as you're going to be the only player there

The new server will start all over again just like the pve one and follow its timeline, therefore names won't be reserved.

After all they wouldn't be able to "reserve" names somehow. Its a complicated progress not worth the time
