Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Im thinking about doing the IronMan challenge on this server. Im probably going to record my progress and post it to my youtube channel as well so you guys can keep track, and it will act as a server review in the process

What class do you think i should do it on? Probably something that can take damage but also deal out damage. Let me know what you think!

Easiest class by far would be hunter. Hardest, warrior. Make sure to do it on the PvE server. I'massuming your restrictions are: No talents, No equipment above white quality (common), no consumables. If you're really brave throw in no pet. Good luck on your challenge!

I'd go for a nice and easy paladin

I think that's almost impossible atm, but yeah that'd be a fun thing to do.

Hunter would be the best class to do it imo, using your pet as a tank and a dps.

I still think it will be cool to create a guild where all members will be trying IM-challenge and post their tears in the guild chat.

I think on the PVP server, if you're doing the challenge publicly (posting to Youtube etc) you'd better hide your character name or you will have a lot of people out to actively hunt and gank you for the lulz.

I agree, but no one in their right mind would go about doing the challenge on a PVP server. Too many opportunities to get killed in the process.

Should be possible with a paladin. Bubble + HS ftw.

What will your rules be? I'm quite keen on starting a hardcore character (die=delete) and see how far I can get. Not a big fan of the whole white gear and no talents thing.

I will go play according to the vanilla rules for the Ironman challenge. Some include no buffs, no professions, no guilds/groups/raids, no food or drink that gives a buff, no enchants, white armor and weapons only, no deaths, no addons that assist in the leveling process but quest helper is allowed, no talents, and no professions besides first aid. Those are the ones I can think of.
