Battleground winrates?

Is there any information about the winrate between alliance and horde in the various battlegrounds? I know I saw something about horde winning a higher percentage of AV but I can't find any information on anything else.

What is the point of knowing it?

My experience is that it's pretty even on pugs and in favor of Alliance in premades. But this is all hearsay.

Here is the general pattern:
Horde premade: Horde wins
PUG v PUG: Horde wins
Alliance premade: Horde sometimes wins
Premade v premade: Horde wins

However, Horde premades are not common because it's usually more productive to solo or ~3 queue.

Not sure how long horde queues are. Since ally are instant in soloq alliance might get more wins in long run but i might be wrong.

That doesn't make any sense.

As a player your queues are faster when you're alliance, but that doesn't mean that the entire alliance faction gets to play more games. Every game is still played against horde.

Both alliance and horde faction play an equal amount of games. Alliance can't play if there are no horde and vice-versa.

Yes but horde different people play. So lets say ally has lot shorter q and more games, ally plays 1 game vs A horde, 1 game vs B horde 1 game vs C horde. And if ally dude wins 1 of 3 games there are now 2 horde dudes with wins and 1 horde dude with loss. So in this scenario ally dude gets more wins over time than horde dude even though horde has 66% winrate.

damn there are actually statistics posted (wonder if they are not too old tho)

Seems like both are doing well: from the last statistics we have regarding less than 2 weeks, on 457 AV battlegrounds which ended by a victory, 48% were won by the Alliance and 52% by the Horde. The Alterac Valley's Battleground is right now the most balanced battleground available on the server compared to Warsong and Arathi thanks to its pre-nerf version.

By the way, works are still ongoing on reports validated on our Bugtracker.

Arathi ratio: 58% Alliance's victory for 42% Horde's side for the last 1413 matchs
