Is the quest The Attack! bugged?

It's the quest in Stormwind Keep where you assassinate the two guys in the little courtyard. The Stormwind guards keep running in the second they aggro and they instantly kill them and make it so we cant get credit for slaying them

I had the same issue, but you can do it it's just hard to get the mobs away from the guards in time, some people have completed it. The ring is shit though because of pre 1.4 stats

I've completed the quest after a few tries. As stated above we had to move the two targets slighty in order for the guards to NOT interfere. If you have to put a huge amount of time trying I would probably skip it since the ring did not yet get to the point worth going through a hussle to wear!
