Well, here is the thing. Yes, there are a lot of people around, but nobody knows whether they are real or not. As you can see in this video made by Nostalrious they are more than capable of emulating players and they are actively doing so for their testing.

Personally I don't take a stand for either side. I mean there's over 200 people in my guild alone and I know about another guild with over 150 players as well. That's way more people just on the horde side than there was on my last server, so I'm pretty sure I can play just fine even if the accusations turn out to be true.
So stop getting your jimmies rustled and just enjoy the game. I know that I will!

Nice to see someone using some common sense, but I'm still waiting for a decent consensus. I'd like to see faction sides and class %s. This means performing extensive /who for zones/levels on both sides.

Census+ addon works with /who command, if the output of the /who command is somehow faked (as it was showed on some videos), the Census+ addon will show faked results, so you can't rely on this addon to prove there are 6k players.
