This a bug?

My voidwalker turned into an undead while I was exploring in the wetlands. Is that supposed to happen?

They are some mob in the wetland that can curse you and turn you into a undead. Guess it works for pet also, its not a bug.

fun fact, if you are shapeshifted and let the curse run out, you become a night elf/tauren with the stats of a bear/cat.
