Mining bugged ?

I've noticed (not the only one, checked with a few people) that I'm getting a very small amount of STONE from mining. It seems like you're lucky to come away with say one rough stone from an entire copper node. From what I can recall on retail and other servers you'd get at least one stone practically every successful mining attempt, usually 2 or even 3 sometimes?

This is really setting some professions back!

I got quite alot of stones from mining nodes, you were just unlucky i guess!

I'm not saying I don't have them. They do add up. But from everything I can recall I was rolling in these things, overflowing inventory with them all the time. That's never the case now. It's 100% not just me being unlucky.

Now that you mention it yes, stone is rare. And yes in vanilla stone were something you always had in loads.

Rough Stone - not that hard to get.
Coarse Stone - a bit harder to get.
Heavy Stone - easy to get.

It's how I remember it.

Can anyone confirm higher drop rates for higher lvl stone?

I seem to get a bit more copper then rough stone.
But im glad for it, because copper is used alot in the early blacksmithing.
