I'm just trying to get my head around the present situation. How much did you have to loot in order to get banned, i.e how much could you get away with looting before they considered it knowingly abusing a bug.
So non-banned people who were out herbing/mining that day. How much did you loot before stopping?
The reason I want to know this is because if the amount needed to get banned is a single herb or two or three then the measures taken by the GMs are absolutely draconian and frankly indefensible. On the other hand if the amount is several stacks then they seem far more reasonable. If there were a lot of people who realized something was up more or less right away, stopped and didn't get banned, that would be nice to know.

You guys seem to be vastly misinterpreting my intent.

It would be nice to be able to agree with the decisions of the GM's instead of considering them trigger-happy buffoons.
Edited the OP to make my intent clear, since experience tells me many only read the first post.

Yeah. That makes sense from someone who clearly thinks that the GMs are far too permabanhappy.

As someone with a max level Herbalist and Miner, I avoided the banhammer with an intelligent combination of raidlogging and sleeping through the duration of the bug.

Good judgement.
