Question about ping during the pvp test

Will the ping we get during the pvp test be representative of what it will actually be when the server goes live? In other words will the server that hosts the pvp test be the same that we end up playing on when Nos is officially released or at the very least have the same ping? Thanks.

It depends.

A big stack of player in the same spot means some lag. But when you'll play on NR live (when it'll be released), you ain't gonna be with 300 players on the same spot.

Imho, there will be lag on the pvp outdoor test, but not so much on the battleground test.

It will not be representative, as stated in the newsletter from today:
To get the most from this test, many debugging tools will be attached to the server, in order to gather as much information as possible regarding performance and stability. As a consequence, the realm may be significantly slower than it will be on release.
