What happend to the 3D Underwater blink?

Does anyone knows what happend with the 3D Underwater blink?

I tested it several times, some m8s too, but in water we can just blink horizontal.
I saw an discussion about that in another thread. There was much complaining about it bcuz its not Blizzlike
but there was not a clear statement to it.

Are you sure you should be able to blink in any direction underwater? 360 degrees?

well its not blizzlike, but they introduced it as a feature on this video

Judging by the Dev's comment in the thread that discussed this issue, it looks like they've decided to just stick to the Blizzlike version, though I'm not sure.

Nothing was "promised", only shown. Blizzard themselves have announced numerous features that never actually made it to the game. If you still have the old Wotlk box, go open it and look at the features that were shown, one of them is called "air combat".
