Greetings,
I was wondering what class to roll as an alt and i wanted to make a healing class.
Priests are the best in PvE but seem very fragile and die to rogues like flies.
Paladins are strong and durable,but having like 3 healing spells-makes them very dull.
I play alliance so shamans are out of the question.
Finally druids have been one my favorite classes in BC and Wotlk,but seems they are underpowered and broken as any spec,but resto.(PvE)
I would still roll a druid even knowing they suck if at least they are better as a PvP healer than the rest-shifting,poison removing,versatility and so on...But i don't wanna roll even a class i like,knowing it is at best average in the one thing i roll it for.
So which healer would you like to have at your side in PvP and why?

There's a feral/resto hybrid spec for druids that is god-like for flag carrying. Personally I'd just take the druid for slow/root/polymorph immunity.

Rogues will still shit on you, but that'll happen to all healers (except maybe paladins)

Priest can dispell anything, bubble is great heal on ms targets, does decent dmg

Least amount off cc need positioning and squishy at lower gear lvls

Paladin can dispell only friendly targets, blessing of freedom is great, bubble +loh, plate , kings

Pala is rly frustrating to lvl up if u are used to combat interaction, your dmg sucks, u will use fol allday everyday

Druid has due to shapeshift advantage vs cc, crazy hots, stealth, moves like jagger,

Shapeshift is mana intensive, no dispel of magic effects,

In conclusion all healers are playable and have strength and weaknesses, healers are foccussed targets, prepare yourself, pots trinkets etc etc

srsly tho ^ this is pretty accurate just roll whatever attracts you most, all healers have their own adventages in pvp

No, they can only dispel magic/disease. And if they're dwarf, poison/bleed on self.

yeah, i think he meant to say they can dispel both ways as in both offensive and defensive dispelling

Paladin is absolutely the best healer in pvp.

At some point when u are very well geared they are just way too robust.

Paladins are inarguably the best PvP healers, followed by priests. Dispells are really important to counter most CCs and the "pause button" aka bubble is just too powerful at countering enemies trying to zerg the healer.
As someone mentioned earlier, blessings, LoH and plate are also very valueable in PvP.

Raw healing it's paladins hands down. If its arguable now, then with each content patch it will become more and more obvious. The scaling is insane. They get double the spell crit scaling that clothies do, get full mana refund on a heal crit, have by default the most efficient heal in the game and at rank 1(level 20) 35 mana & 43% scaling the best downrank heal in the game. That said, holy paladins pretty symbiotic; can't do shit without a good DPS to latch onto, which can be boring to some.

Shamans are best as 30 ele/21 resto imo. They're like priests without PW:S/renew and put out higher PvP DPS and burst than frost mages at the same time. Great burst healing if you wanna use NS defensively too. Also pretty close to pally mitigation for what its worth, which is quite a bit.

Haven't played a 60 druid in this patch, but I do know they are completely neutered by purge spam and eshock. Probably a good option for horde.

Priest doesn't have to be the best raw healer to be mandatory. They just have such a wide variety of defensive and offensive utility that they are irreplaceable.
