Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I just turned in the bloodsail bucaneers quests alongside with mokk's heart and a bunch of others. Went to the mailbax and then dc/rollback happend. Logged back , all my quest items were gone , xp rewards from completing the quests were gone but i had the reward items. Just waited 3 hours to loot bloodsail orders with its 15 min respawn while there was a constant pvp fight on the shore.

*i can see all the quests being marked as completed on my minimap, and golden ? npcs.

yeah these fucking rollbacks need to go, got very close to losing some good stuff myself a couple of times.

It really is the number 1 problem of this server and should be priority number 1 to fix!

And indeed, those rollbacks also have weird effects. For example. Why are all people kicked out of bg's after a dc? Why can't they just log back in and continue with the bg? Very annoying if you finally get in and a dc kicks you out again.

Tonight the dc and rollback also caused the lovely ongoing instant bg queues that had been the case this evening to stop, because apparently people stopped queueing afterwards.

Better get used to the dcs, I only play a few hours a night and always experience 1-2 roll backs during NA prime time.

Also, imagine playing a pretty long game of AV and then this happens and you can start over..

im sure it will be addressed and fixed by then hopefully
there really not that bad though, its very stable escpecially when u consider amount of players

I was told that these random dc's are actually the devs applying hotfixes. They apply the hotfix and without warning, everyone dc's so the hotfix can apply.

Whether or not this is true...I do not know.

If they're doing that they're fucking terrible devs. There's no reason to not announce a server restart.

i think some bug is crashing the server. Hopefully it will get fixed before we get to raiding.
