I would like to post a complaint about Samsta, who apparently monitors world chat, for his abuse of power. After posting a guild recruit message in world chat in an effort to share with another guild member the type of messages we send, Mr. Samsta, banded me permanently from world chat. When I inquired as to my offense, he stated he had just posted a message not to post any recruitment messages, which neither one of us saw, because the found them to be annoying. Then he placed me on ignore when I tried to question him further about how guild chat works. I noticed others being band as well for the same reason. I have been playing vanilla on another server for the last year and I have seen some pretty offensive things going on in WC but I have never experienced or seen anything like this. I request an investigation be made. Surely, this server must have some kind of standards as to who they leave in charge of WC. Please note i do have screen shots.

the World chat is a privately created channel, and thus not managed as any other chat.
the owner switches around constantly.

I have brought the issue of the world chat to the attention of the administrators to see if something will be done against this.

Imagine the reaction I had when I opened the forums to such a great astounding thread name.

Upon closer inspection of the worlds best thread name on the forum I come to see this. Tears. Tears everywhere.

World Chat is a player created and moderated channel. To control it via any other means would not be "BlizzLike"

Do you think he did it with a malicious intent?

I love the fact he banned you for that reason! People should not be spamming world chat with recruit macros! ITs only meant for LFG and WTS/WTB or general questions. NOT TO MARKET YOUR GUILD!! Having a GM monitoring world chat would not be blizzlike

And the whole reason this great thread was created is because you made somebody angry. So really, you're the reason for this great thread, bravo.

you get unbanned at a server reset/crash it's not a big deal but annoying if the server is stable for a few hours

Thanks, Matt. I tried to find out how it worked but Samsta was so rude and ugly toward me I couldn't get a straight answer. I will happily remove World Chat from my channels and recommend others do the same if they feel the same way I do about it. As far as Samsta goes, if he were my son, I would feed him to Onyxia.
