Delete the Armament of War Items

They want us to Delete the items they put in the game cuz they can't script, but that's beside the point, They want the items deleted or if you vendored them make sure to open a ticket and let them know what you did with the item.

I know I did not see the "In game" announcement, that they did at 2 AM US Time, cuz I was sleeping like most Americans were (Maybe this is the way they want to get rid of us? ) but there have been no "Official" announcements, just posts inside an already long forum post on announcements about the dragons - should prolly make a new post guys just sayin, communication isn't your strong suit Nost Staff.

Just help spread the word to your fellow players I guess, it's on us guys. Time to step up to the plate where the system has fallen short.

While I'm not level 60 yet and it doesn't affect me, this is kind of ridiculous.

I have absolutely no reason to check the Twitter for this sort of information. Why would it not be on the official forums, unless it embarrasses them to ask the players to delete an item AND THEN make a ticket to prove they have. It should have an announcement page. The players didn't create this issue, but the responsibility to correct it seems solely on them.

If action can be taken against players that haven't done these tasks, it's imperative that the Nostalrius guys do everything they can to make sure the community is aware of this issue. Posting it on Twitter and replying to threads is just not enough to properly inform the community.

punishing abuse of bugs is a correct thing to do, however the way it's being done is for sure not the best

Pottu claims that the quest is obviously bugged since it immediately awards the quest rewards.
However many players did huge parts of the quest chains, some of which were bugged up to a point where followup quests were missing. As this specific quest is missing in most databases it isn't exactly obvious a previously bugged quest is simply bugged in a different way after a patch, when parts of the chain have been completed already.

well, in the end it's their decision how to deal with it

the overall effect such a quest has on the economy / gameplay is close to non existent. If the rules are being enforced for a specific purpose here, it's for taking a stand against abusing in general. Imho targeting the wrong players.
