This wasn't broken at the end of PTR. Sometimes bugs make it to live clients. Completely different environments. First video game?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't available without having done the prequests at 1.8 release.
wasn't this bug introduced with the quest fix on wednesday?

They care enough to threaten to ban people for turning in the quest.

Good thing I realized something was wrong when my LazyPig autocompleted it, which led me to ticketing a GM and deleting the items as per his instructions before these threads started.

They just should maybe make an ANNOUNCEMENT, in the section labeled ANNOUNCEMENTS - instead of us having to spread the word ourselves, but maybe that'd require the Game Masters to do something productive.
