GM's conflicting standards
Posted: Thu Feb 25, 2016 1:20 amWhy hasn't <Pisses Excellence> been disbanded already for having an offensive guild name? I would assume it is because they have become a strong established guild with many members, and GM's would rather not walk on eggshells here.
Let me remind you what pisses means. it means to urinate, yes that's right URINATE! So such guild name is clearly breaching terms of use. Apart from this, in many countries (mine included) to use the word piss/pisses etc publicly is highly offensive and is generally not normal to say in 'cultured' forums. I would go so far as to suggest such use of language is just as offensive as F***, C***, B*** etc, you can fill in the blanks.
So why then no GM disband? well choosing sides with guilds on this server by GM's is not an uncommon occurrence, this has been highlighted by players on many occasions. So i'll let you put two and two together on this one....
