Specific Patch Day Or At Least Forewarning

First off loving this server so far and the fact the devs are actually patching is great.
But I'm pretty irritated with this oh hey we fixed some stuff we're going to restart the server with a 5 minute warning with 3500 people on. Last night a patch was implemented with no warning and the server was up and down for an hour and a half every few minutes before I finally went to bed. The last time I logged in only a few hundred people came back because the server wouldn't stop crashing. Extremely unprofessional and if it happens more than once your going to lose a lot of players.
So my suggestion is unless there is a critical game breaking or performance bug that has to be implemented asap the community needs to know when patches are planned to be applied and how much downtime is expected to iron it out. A set day when patches are rolled out would be preferred, but even a days notice with a timeframe would be nice. 3500 people playing on a Friday night getting randomly booted and not be able to play for hours because a quick unscheduled patch wanted to be implemented is innapropiate.
