DKP System Review

Hello Community,

I am the GM of <Dank Budz Collective>, and we are planing to use a Fixed Price DKP System.

I did some research and then came up with a tentative plan for DKP Rules and Loot Distribution.

It can be read at the following link:

http://dankbudzcol.guildportal.com/Guil ... D=12352681

I am creating this thread to gather the opinions of the community.

Please tell me what you think of this system, how it can be improved, and ways in which it could be more properly balanced.

Feedback is highly appreciated and will be considered.

Thank you for your consideration - Ycbshadow

DKP is terrible and fixed price is worse.

Ep/Gp system with decay was the best dkp system for me so far.
Efford Points / Gear Points
Simple math decides who gets the next item

No dkp hording due to decay
And newcomerfriendly

sounds like a 'force items down my throat' system. What if this system decided I get item X, but I don;t want item X, I'd rather save up for the alternative item Y?

Not saying that this system is worse than others, but each system has disadvantages i think

loot council is the only serious way to play.

Yup, if your guild is worth being a member of (in other words, mature intelligent officers) you might as well use loot council. DKP is designed to "fix" non-problems and just creates worse ones. There's no form of DKP that's superior to Loot Council, as long as your council knows how to award loot.

Was in many guilds throughout the years of wow, from member, to officer, to founder and gm.

By far, the most effective and least controversial way of distributing loot is EP/GP.

I've been a part of Loot council, dkp, rolls, modified dkp, silent dkp, gdkp.

EP/GP if used correctly is not only the EASIEST to use, I had 0 complaints about loot in 2 years of running my guild.

0 fights over loot in 2 years. 0

I concur.

EPGP is, by far, the most fair and easy-to-use Loot Distribution System.

If u dont want item x no worries...
See ep gp this way like rolling

Item x drops
Whoever wants it +
every + gets into calculation
Highest ratio wins
