Time to fix rollbacks dont u think so? Happened twice that after finish a quest , rollback happens, then after logging the quest that i already did is still up, but my mats are gone. So i have to do the entire quest again, i lost more than 45 min because of this shit.

:DDD

45 minutes? Come on, stop exaggerating. You can lose a few minutes, at most.
Characters can only be saved every once in a while to decrease server load. Saving 6000 characters every step they make is simply impossible.

There is no such thing as "fix rollbacks". Please stop asking for it.

With a high server pop and highly concentrated player populations, its entirely possible to lose 30-45 minutes just in quest items alone, and that's not even mentioning travel time.

And there is such a thing as fixing rollbacks, its called fixing server crashes.

Could be worse, at least there hasn't been a 4 month rollback (Looking at you, Rebirth)

It's not on Nostalrius though. If it really was 30-45 per character save, then we'd see a hell of a lot more complaints about these massive rollbacks. Characters are saved roughly every 2-5 minutes tops, looking also at other player reports.

Duration doesnt matter at all. These rollbacks need to go or its a failed server.

losing quest items or a huge drop when people start doing raids because of a rollback will kill this server faster than anything else

He's not saying his character has been rolled back 30-45 minutes (unless I read it wrong) he's saying that he lost 30-45 minutes of playing time because the rollback didn't register that he had completed a quest, but did register that he no longer had the quest items, requiring him to travel back to where he farmed the items, reacquire the items he lost, then travel back to the quest giver to turn them in. That can easily set someone back 30+ minutes. I've had it happen to me just as described, and I've had it happen with drops, its a real pain in the ass, and its not something I expected from a server that advertised itself as having excellent scripting and a stable server.

Alright, I guess that could happen.
But people should keep in mind that there is no such thing as fixing rollbacks, only fixing crashes. And I'm gonna end on that note.

Yes, the rollbacks are the symptom, not the disease. Regardless, constant server crashes is tiresome.

Is obvious that you DONT UNDERSTAND me.

Im not saying that rollback has been for 45 min back! Im saying that when rollback happened, i lost all my quest item, but my quest progress was still up, so i still was in that quest (cause rollback made undelivered quest but delivered items). So if i've been farming those quest items FOR 45 MIN. I LOST THEM.

Don't you get me?!

@sloasdaylight thanks for explain it to that guy.
