Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Very vicious group. Seemed like a quiet bunch at first but beware: If someone asks you for your opinion on how a class is at 60, just save yourself grief, harassment, threatening wispers, duel demands and personal attacks and say nothing.

I was asked how boomkins were at max level. I replied with what I knew. Boomkin have mana issues and their damage suffers for it. Just my opinion. Apparently this was the wrong opinion. The "quiet" guild went into a flurry of activity doing all the above actions and more.

I remained calm. Did not lower myself and several people spoke up for me, saying it is not wrong to have an opinion. This did not sit well with the guild. The fact that I felt that certain classes perform better than others more consistently seemed to infuriate them. Despite stating multiple times "play what you like, I prefer min/maxing but its not for everyone"

I was quickly kicked from the guild, when I asked for the reason (Knowing full well I did nothing wrong) the guild master simply stated "You don't fit in" most likely to preserve and appease the hostile group he has cultivated.


Just remember, if you join G.T "Vanilla classes are perfectly balanced and skill is all that matters. Don't like it?

Yeah /gquit after I saw that shit. Guild seems to be run by a bunch of bullies who circle jerk each other to oblivion and seem to think they have redefined the meta to a 11 year old game....GMs okay but won't kick them...gotta maintain that 8/10 MC progress tho m8!

So many of these horror stories seem to be from the Alliance side.

Why can't you guys just get along? So many play both factions too, it boggles my mind.

Sorry to hear you've had such a bad experience with the guild. I've been a member in the guild for a bit of time now. Personally, i find them to be a supernice group of people and i really can't believe any of them could smashtalk like that.
Regarding boomkins; totally agree, even with stuff like +spell crit aura, innervate and cr, i'd still take a mage over one. You would probably be asked to heal for the most of the raid with such a spec.
Wouldnt /lol at the raid progress, i've been positively impressed with what i've seen. GM is ambitious and experienced

You claim you was kicked from the guild because you didn't fit in. But don't you agree with that? I mean you don't have to do anything wrong to not fit in. It's people who make up guilds and not all people fit together...

I have no idea what happened to you yesterday since I wasn't logged in at the time, but I can outright say this is one of the best guilds I've been in since probably forever. The raidleader is great, the people in guildchat are friendly, and we did all bosses in MC at first attempt (except rag second attempt) and even though the guild is still young it has lots of potential.

Saying people should avoid the guild because you didn't fit in is taking it a bit far.
