Maraudon: Scepter of Celebras

by Gussl » Sun Mar 15, 2015 7:19 pm

Hi Guys,

I've allready heard from some people that they somehow managed to complete the quest for the Scepter of Celebras. I, however, did 3 full runs yet and could not figure out what i did wrong and what made the quest break.

I really would appreciate if one of those who has it could tell, step by step, what he/she has done to complete it.

Sincerely, Me

Did 4 runs myself, tried 4 different tactics, all failed.

1. Being the person, who starts the event does not allow you to complete it.
2. Being the only person near the alter where the ceremony is performed does not unbug it.
3. Being the person, who clicks the book, does not unbug it.
4. Not clicking the book, instead waiting, does not change the ceremony.

I have tried all 4 at once - starting the quest, having everyone else stay back, clicking the book immediately OR waiting a while, then clicking it - doesn't work.

So far the only plausible options that remain are:

a. Be the only person to accept the quest - everyone else should click NO when they get a pop-up message to start it.

b. Abandon the quest as the event is ongoing, before clicking the book (this is a rumor I heard from someone, who got scepter) - seems counter-logical, so might be fake/troll.

Hard to say what's going on here. The run I did, everyone but 1 got the scepter and the only reason he didn't get it is because he didn't see the !/? above the ethereal NPC lol...
