ya, I don't see how lag explains this... he starts casting Roots right after I Kidney Shot and the entire cast goes off WHILE he has the Kidney Shot debuff on him?

ive experienced the same thing, finishing grenade tosses after getting kidney or hojd and such.

Okay, he could have been finishing the cast at the same second you kidney shotted him and the combat log put your effect before his but because of latency his cast got off before your stun.

Wait, from your screenshot it looks like cheap shot could have just ended and that was when he started casting...

there's a common private server bug (also occurred on live at various points during vanilla and tbc) where if your spell starts RIGHT as the stun lands, you will continue to cast it.

He might have had Nature's Grasp on, which triggered when you stunned him?
