It looks like this pala stacked reckoning known as the reckoning bomb. Take up to five crits on yourself and you can launch a flury up to five attacks. Protection talent.

Yeah, this is normal. I suggest reading up on old WoW class and talent mechanics. Lots of cool shit like that.
And if you think that's strange. Then you don't want to meet a Shaman with WF, Stormstrike and HoJ.
Have fun getting hit 9 times instantly.
Will be even worse if he had Drake Talon Cleaver.

From what experieced (lvling a pala) this is inncorrect. It stacks up with amount of crits taken else it would be majorly abused.

you can prestack reckning in vanilla. they should last until logout or "use" in combat.

This reminds me of something important:

We're on pre-1.4 server. Why is Reckoning limited to 5 charges? Reckoning didn't have a charge cap until that pala soloed Kazzak (hint: Kazzak isn't released on Nos yet, so we're before that point in the timeline).

Bring back Reckoning bombs with infinite charges!
