Forgive, that despite having played without broke through vanilla, from day one, til TBC, that I don't remember this but:
Did mobs REALLY yield equal to, or less experience then regular mobs?

May need to check on the edits in case they nerfed exp throughout the expansions, but this does look legit on the Lua calculation.
