Will this only drop for one person as it did in retail? I can understand if Nostalrius wants to stick to the authenticity aspect, mirroring retail vanilla's every moves. But personally I feel like it should remain an extremely, extremely rare drop. It would be lame if someone got it and ended up quitting and what not imo.

So on one hand, stick with the authenticity of retail and have it only drop once
Or on the other leave it as an EXTREMELY rare drop, something else to dream about

Personally I vote for option #2. Though I don't know what the actual plans are and this is by no means an official vote. I just want to know how the community feels about it. Also what are your thoughts on the item in general? I love the idea of another legendary being available but so unheard of.

It should drop only once. It's a gimmick in rememberance of retail vanilla, no need to change anything about it.
We don't even know the drop chance (can't really talk of rate here) it used to have. Maybe it was 5%, maybe it was 0.00001%.
So let it drop once with whatever chance, don't give it so a shaman, and be done with it.

It's good for damage reflect paladin farming builds, too OP.

Realistically how many people ever manage legendaries anyway? I don't see the big deal if it's there. Who knows maybe Blizzard originally intended to leave it in but decided otherwise once it dropped? I personally just like the idea of one more legendary being a tiny possibility.

My own opinion aside, it's very clearly non-blizz-like to allow this item to be widespread when it never actually was. The fact it's quite usable as a piece of equipment makes the case stronger that this item will likely be extracted from the game preventing further acquisition after it is acquired for the first time.

I'm personally all for more legendaries, but it simply wasn't around back then, so going by the mantra for this server, it likely won't be around here either.

On one hand, the fact that it's a really good resist neck for certain fights means it could heavily impact the gameplay if it becomes widespread. On the other hand, if it actually is that good then only one guild having access to it could be a huge issue for AQ/Naxx progression. I'm sure the server staff have a plan already, but it's kind of a tricky thing to implement for those reasons.
