Alliance Rogue Poison Quest Broken (Klaven's Tower)

Klaven's journal is never in the box. I've seen other Rogues with poisons so I assume this worked at some point. There are several other Rogues that can't get it either

At least for horde side, the item has been moved from the chest to the elite mob. You need to kill him and it's probably not doable solo at the appropriate range. Invite another rogue on the quest and pickpocket and kill everything in and around the tower for a complete.

I already tried killing the elite, he didn't drop the journal
