Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I just feel it needs to be said: These guys faced the most blizzlike experience possibly, and they overcame.

Not only do I already admire the dedication of these guys, because I do, but this just did it for me. This thread is not about Grizzly however, but the sheer QUALITY of this server.

Having followed the progress of several guilds here, I now fully realize the scope of dedication and hard work the devs put into scripting Molten Core. Truly, truly breathtaking. I went on an emotional journey from the very first pull.
The bosses were flawlessly crafted by, dare I say, the most talented developers in the entire world. I respect you beyond reason for the TRANSPARENCY you have delivered in this.

What is Nostalrius ?
Despite many vanilla private servers attempts, none actually fulfilled players needs. After 4 years of development, Nostalrius provides you the adventure that you always dreamed of, as it was just before the first expansion Burning Crusade, a golden age for most players.

mc has always been about getting 35 beating hearts into the instance. it's hardly worth slamming your balls together just because some guild that's 7/8s keyboard turners already cleared an instance. hell even 40 redditors could clear mc in 2015 and most of them can't even manage to put their underwear on forwards 7 days a week

I would hesitate to call them legitimate. This is a private server after all, and Grizzly already has quite a bad reputation. I was on a Zeppelin recently with one of their level 60's and he even admitted to me that they use exploits.

Think about it for a moment. Where were the streams? Where were the screenshots? You would think they might record such a feat, but there was nothing. You really don't think that's suspicious?

Please stop holding these chumps on a pedestal. When any guild that isn't Grizzly kills Ragnaros I will consider it the true world first.

I think they did a great job on the 1-60 part mostly since that is such a drag for anyone to do in vanilla.
the raiding MC part isn't that difficult with people who are experienced and have been doing it for awhile.

the fun part has yet to begin though, we still have bwl and world boss's to do. (AQ war effort and event etc) and ultimately naxx.

and don't forget about AV coming here in a month and a week for the pvp fans.
