PVE TEST

Okay, so that's very, very good news, no doubt.

What I want to ask, will it be available only for people who got into PvP test? Or will you allow new players to get their accounts too? Really hoping for the latter, know numerous players willing to share the joy now :D

Also, have you considered increasing the time limit, maybe? 4+4 hours on PvP test was quite honestly not that much, and I'd guess that testing all the fun PvE content would take more time than derping around on battlegrounds and in duels, especially since now we'll be able to do both :D
Of course, leaving it up for a week or something wouldn't be wise as it would probably end up with not enough people online at a time, but I guess something along the lines of 24-48 hours would be enough for most players to have their fun and collapse from exhaustion :D

It needs to be longer because of how long it'll take us to actually go through the dungeons. I assume they plan to teleport us inside, as flying and running everywhere would waste quite a bit of time for a test. Judging from how they did the last test, they might create an NPC to teleport you inside every dungeon. I don't know how they will handle quests however, which, before Cata, were located all over the world. Some were actually hidden and Blizzard expected you to just find them from exploration(a long forgotten concept in the game today) to do them at all. So, we'd still have to run all over the place to get those, and many of them were attached to chains that didn't send you into the dungeon until its later steps. Maybe they will pull a Cata and just cheat engine all the NPCs inside the dungeon doors, pulled up to the step that does the dungeon. But if we can't test the quests, many of which were required to spawn event bosses, then Nostalrius will have to do that one on their own. We'll have to wait and see.

Okay, guess part of my question did get an answer in the most recent announcement!

I'll be sure to spread the word.

During Blizzard's Beta Test there was a level cap during the PVE sessions, and it was progressively increased. This would give the devs progressive bug reports. This strategy could be useful for Nostalrius (even if it's probably a slow option, especially if the level cap is not increased before all reported bugs are fixed).

Speaking of. I'm a new comer. I'm assuming in the newsletter is where we get information and login crap? Is there a link to a client we can download too? Or is that something I have to find myself?

The staff will send you a login and password for the Test one day before.
But you have to find the client by yourself sorry .. But it's easy too find in torrent, or in other private server.

2 things I am looking forward to testing during this test is the Stair event in ZF and the hakkar urn event in ST.
hopefully Ulda scripts work in the last boss's chamber as well. :D
RFD Escort quest inside the instance as well.

Would be pretty impressive if these events are working...
...also, the tubers....never seen any server with that quest working...

Although, seeing AV state, I'm afraid we will have a bad surprise on this matter.
