Where are all the quests?

As I've been leveling, I've encountered a few bugs that really didn't bother me all that much. However, after getting to level 40, some quests just didn't seem to be there ie tannaris pirates and feralas yetis, and that rubbed me the wrong way. I'm now level 50 in Thorium Point, getting camped by a scrub 60 lock who has too much time on his hand (hence me logging and complaining now), and it would seem that Hansel Heavyhands and Wanted/Missing/Lost & Found are missing a collective 5 quests. I'm not the biggest fan of straight grinding, and if that's what I'll basically be forced to do 50-60, I'm not quite sure what I'll do yet.

I would love some help from all you over 50s on what you did when you got to my position. Also, is there any place that mentions the quests yet to be implemented, so I can know to avoid those areas (not the most tech-savy guy so a link might be helpful). I've asked world chat quite a few times, but they are more concerned with griz, nope and rd. Thanks in advance, and sorry if this post is totally irrelevant and I missed some huge post saying quest blah, blah and blah have not been introduced yet, but will be put in around ___ time.

pretty sure quest are how they were in 1.4
quest get added with each patch like they did in retail

The quests are actually missing due to the time they were added. Basically, this server has an extreme dedication to making it exactly how vanilla WoW was pre patch 1.4 to maintain the difficulty of the at the time raids. Now raids may have nothing to do with those quests but those quests were added after 1.4. It's not that the quests are missing, it's that the developers intentionally took them out of the game to respect the 1.4 patch conditions. As for what I did due to those missing quests I just ground. If that's not your cup of tea grind dungeons.

What a stuipd concept really. Many cool and intersting quests were added in patch 1.11 and with that logic and thinking we need to wait for Naxx to be released in order to have all quests ( I am not speaking about quests that are related to raids and reputation for those raids but about quests that are part of leveling process), many flight paths were added also in patch 1.11 so those flight masters should be removed also...

Thanks all for the info, I actually didn't play until BC, hence my lack of knowledge on the release of certain quests with patches 1.2-1.12 and such.

Just a tip to any mods, you may want to add something regarding this, why quests aren't here, in the FAQ, could be quite helpful.

speaking of quests, are there any of them pre-final version which maybe got deprecated and removed before that?
just wondering to know if they brought some items non-obtainable anymore in the 1.12.1.

Yeah I'm curious about some of the quests too. I was looking for Zukk'ash report which follows infestation and stinglash. Both infestation and stinglash were added in 1.11.1 but Zukk'ash, which also was added in 1.11.1, doesn't seem to be available. Same with southsea shakedown that you're referring too.

What bugs me is the inconsistency of which quests are there and which ones aren't. The southsea shakedown quest was added in patch 1.8.0 and is missing, but the Pirate hats ahoy! quest was added at the same time and has not been removed. There are numerous other examples of quests that was implemented later than 1.04 still working in-game, though some quests are missing. Could we please have a complete list of what quests are intentionally removed and some statement regarding those quests that were added in later pacthes but have not yet been removed here.
