Can you be banned for changing your data file to change your cat and bear forms to look like a worgen or gnoll?

Considering there were freaks in retail who did the same thing for nude models, probably not since it's only client-side.

I tried it but it keeps disconnecting me from the server after being logged in within a minute =(

Yeah, there is security in place to keep people from doing malicious things with patch editing.
