Kills bug?

So about an hour ago I had 21 kills today. Just now, it reset to 1 (this isn't the rank reset thing that already happened way earlier today). Is this a bug? Why did it just randomly reset my today kill count?

It looks like it isn't calculating or saving your kills after the Tuesday honor cut off. Last night during my pvp session it randomly calculated in tuesday's honor and started counting again. I got 170ish hk's and then the devs brought it down for pvp maintenance. Logged in and those 170 ish kills were gone and not added to this weeks total.
