So I hear at some point Nostalrius is going to add a BC, the real question is do you think we'd be able to get a separate copy of our characters over on a new separate expansion server or will they just straight up take away vanilla??? *which I don't want to happen*

The plan is to add a seperate TBC realm which you can choose to move your character to. This will delete it from the vanila realm, which should continue to run independently.

I'm not sure if it's going to happen in 1 year, since even Corecraft has been under development for years. But indeed, it'll be awesome.

Is there a link to an Admin or Dev saying this?

I think a Gm-Leader should be pretty trustworthy, so shouldn't be needed an admin to confirm it.

In FAQ : https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3

I read that :

What's next once all the content will be cleared
A new TBC server will be opened after some months by the community we depend on. This new realm will be completely independent from Nostalrius Begins, that will continue to be supported. Additionnaly, the Nostalrius players will have the possibility to copy any character to the Burning Crusade realm. Once again, Nostalrius Begins will always stay online, and will always have its own dedicated staff.

We dont have the word by copy or cut but btw its far..

i'm pretty sure the TBC server will be added several years down the line, considering the vanilla server took years to develop on its own.

Except that the GM said "move" your character, yet the FAQ says "copy" your character over.

This is a pretty HUGE difference and needs clarification. I was always under the impression you would be able to COPY your character over to the BC realm and play there, but still have the old version of your character on the vanilla server.
