Hunter pet dps - nerfed

Couldnt find any official word about this, but it looks like my pet is doing about 40% less damage now. Saw the thread about people complaining about it being too high however. Any official word?

what needs to be discussed?

there are sources that accurately tell us how much damage hunter pets did. some of them offer incontrovertible evidence, like videos.

some people are going to be against their class getting fixed because it makes them worse. i don't really understand these people. if there's a bug it's in everyone's interest to correct it.

Discussion about what? There was clear evidence that Hunter pets were doing far too much damage, and it was fixed. A level 40 pet should never have been doing 50% more damage than a level 60 pet on 1.12 retail. It's unfortunate that you got used to it being strong, now you'll get used to it being where it should be.
