Debuff slots

so yeah i am not very much into the specific patchnotes in the timeline but when can we expect the debuff slots to be increased from 8 to 16 so shadow priests are welcome into raids ?
My guild wants me as a healer and damn it burns me up from the inside to fiddle with holy spells but i can withstand it a month or two i guess.
