Some of you may seen me around the server on horde side, some of you may have been ganked by me on alliance side.
My name is Thompz I am an Undead Priest and a pretty decent guy if you know me.
I have been buying and selling a lot off the AH, also been spamming trade for Arcanite transmutes, I have been paying a 5g fee and selling bars off for a lot more, so i've been making a tidy profit.
I won't name the people involved (although Daemon and associated GM's have been provided their names) but I have lent/borrowed golds while levelling, for mount, profs and general AH playing, I also did a bit lending some gold to my friend to buy some gear (A certain mage from another guild can vouch I lent my friend gold to buy a Krol Blade)
So I ding 60, I have a shit loads of stuff to sell, I am missing a few Aces to complete decks (As decks will sell for a hella lot soon) and Arcanite bars are rising in price, so I want to hold onto them. A friend of mine who dinged 60 ages before me (I have a wife and 2 kids, so it's been a bit slow) is quite wealthy and has a good farming technique making a decent amount, he gets to play a lot more than me so he can farm gold hard, where as I make my gold off the market, buy cheap sell high at the right times, which everyone who plays the AH will relate too. Anyway, my friend offers to lend me gold to buy an epic mount and pay me back whenever I get it, I have known him since Vanilla, we have always had that trust. (I have mentioned this trade as this is the trade I believe which has got me banned)
If you have cared for my story to read up to this far, I log on one evening, 3 days after I ding 60. I am banned, I sent a message to various GM's and I receive this reply the following day...
So of course I am a bit skeptical at the time, unsure to what has just happened, I know the ban hammer is flying about left right and centre so I feel relief they admitted to their mistake. I carry on playing the next evening and a GM-Waddake whispers me, now this is where things get interesting, we start to talk, i'm fighting plaguehounds for the fording quest for the healing ring, he asks me about my friends bank alt (who traded me the gold) mid fighting, a 5 second pause and he then whispers "Don't keep me waiting, hurry up" a little bullyish but ok I get worried, do I name my friend? With this sick feeling in my stomach this guy is going to throw a ban on me any second, I mean the GM leader and the supreme leader has already told me it was a mistake, but why is this Waddake guy now pestering me further about this? So I hesitate and tell him it was a friend that quit, (if he is going to ban me, he won't take my friend too is my perhaps rash and quick reasoning) so he says "wrong answer, too bad you are banned now" 5 seconds later i'm banned. Bare in mind I wasn't given a chance to further speak to this guy, I was not given a chance to defend myself, I didn't know what was going to happen. I had already been banned for no reason, what would you do in my position? I see people getting banned all over the place on the forums everyday.
So now i'm upset, angry, frustrated, mixed emotions flying through, I talk to my friend about it the one who lent me the gold (Who is in the same guild as me for gods sake) he said "Don't worry, tell them who I am, I only lent you the gold they can't ban you for that" So I message Daemon again to query this. Daemon backs Waddake up and says I bought the gold off him and will face a perm ban. I have nothing left to lose so I tell Daemon I was protecting my friend because the GM seemed off from the start with the way he spoke to me, I even told the GM I will speak to Daemon regarding this matter instead but he wanted an answer from me straight away.
Anyway I then tell Daemon my friends main who lent me the gold, I also offer to provide my bank statement for the month and highlight all my outgoings to show that I made no dodgy payments, I asked him apart from trading gold with my friends level 1 bank, what have I done, but I still have not had this answered.
Now pms have been flying between myself and Daemon for days, I have given him everything he has asked for in terms of proof and I have embarrassed myself and hurt my pride by begging him to see sense in this matter.
Now I have only done this out of a last resort, I am hoping the community of Nost, anyone who knows me, can vouch I am not worthy of this ban and that justice has in fact not been served on this occasion, all I want to do is play and raid and get ambush backstabbed 1 shotted by perditions blade rogues in pvp. I didn't want things to get this far, but I really want to play here, I don't want to go somewhere else, I have found a nice home, I have friends here.
The only thing I can throw as an accusation is that when my case was looked into it, it seemed fine. However the GM who originally banned me the first time (Feel free to come forward?) perhaps I have upset, maybe ganked or trolled, or perhaps won an item over them and they have decided to take it personally. I feel I have been victimized here and all I want is a fair trial.
