Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Currently, there is a botting ring going on around neutral auction houses in Tanaris/Stranglethorn Vale. Any attempt to set green or higher quality item on auction with low prices (usually done when transfering items from one faction to another, alt gear, crafting mats and similar) will result in an INSTANT(less then a second) buyout by these bots, aka your items will be PERMANENTLY lost.

Some of those bots: Legitbuyer (lvl 5 Tanaris), Yadungoofed (lvl 2 Stv, a member of Dank Budz Collective guild)

At this moment, be very careful, or better yet, totally AVOID any attempt to transfer green or higher quality items from one faction to another trough neutral AH, as there is a high chance you will loose all items in question.

well, it coul be botting, but if all they are doing is spamming refresh and buying the cheap stuff to make a quic buck, there would be nothing against the ToS on this. I suggest just doing what nervous did and make some bank off them

Whatever Nervous claims to have done, most likely did not happen, since a few of us are making sure bots in both zones remain dead for the time being. However, if something is not done, who knows what items people might loose later on, tomorrow, and so on.

I would be more than happy to kill them, even if it means getting wrecked by the BB bouncers. It will take them offline for a bit. I would recommend everyone doing the same. This is the one time were Alliance and Horde can come together.

As some clever people have already suggested, there are several ways to fight back against the AH bots until they get banned.

Sell them lvl5 greens for 1g each, make them go bankrupt .

Kill them (take off gear first to avoid durability loss), then post auctions before they res.

But its damn really impressive that not even a milli second after clicking the "Create auction" button, my item was bought. Poof!
