Vanilla WoW Wiki

Fellow members of the vanilla community,
As you may or may not know there is a wiki for vanilla wow which can be found here:
http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/Vanilla_WoW_Wiki
I'm sure many people have ever up on the wiki when searching for vanilla things in google. You may have noticed a lot of content is incomplete. Retail WoW looks nothing like vanilla WoW anymore because many things from vanilla disappeared or got simplified. So having a good wiki for it can be quite usefull.
I’ll give a couple of examples of useful vanilla pages of which info is not so readily available anymore:
- The racial traits have changed a lot and it is hard to find a good overview of the vanilla ones:
http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/Racial_trait
- A lot of the game got changed in cataclysm, like vanilla instances getting closed or revamped for a different level range, so here is a list of the original instances:
http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/Instances_by_level
- The PVP rank system was unique to vanilla:
http://vanilla-wow.wikia.com/wiki/Honor
The Honor System:

But still a lot of info is missing. And some pages have irrelevant info from other expansions. I personally don’t think adding pages for all vanilla items, quests, spells and NPC’s is really necessary since you can easily find this info in various vanilla databases. Ofcourse some things are worth mentioning, but I doubt a page for the quest lazy peons or a page for some green item should be a high priority.
It would be nice to have all profession leveling guides, talent specs, gear guides or dungeon tactics end up on the wiki.
I figured it would be useful to share this since probably a couple of people from the vanilla community are willing to contribute by getting busy on this wiki. It has improved a lot already over the past 6 months because of the recent vanilla hype.
If you want to get started be sure to take read the guidelines which also includes some basic editing tips.

The more people help, the better the wiki can get.
Take care
