I don't know for horde factions but it should be possible, for darnassus you can get ~44.5k reputation only with quests (non human).

no Night elf. But I never grinded a single level. (didn't do STV mastery Qsts aswell)

Also interested in this. As an undead it's the only way to get an old mount but I'm not sure it's doable right now...

Once you're level 60 you're pretty fucked.

Only way to get exalted with another faction than your own is to start there from level 1 and do every single quest at lowest level possible so you get max rep from it :/

I'm 7170/21000 with Darnassus on my gnome but I'm already level 60 so even if I was to do the whole of Teldrassil I wouldn't get more than 2k rep (since I get about 15-20 rep per quest at level 60 instead of full 100+ rep per quest).

I leveled in the Barrens, but not Durotar. That and Silverpine are, I think, the only two zones I did not quest in pre-level 50. I've also done every single pre-60 dungeon quest save for the RFD escort (lost to server crash) and Hakkar in ST (bug cost us the pull).
