Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Whenever I try to auto-sell more than 12-15 greys from my bags to a vendor, I get disconnected. I reconnect and my loot is sold though. I'm worried it might trigger an accidental ban. Is this behavior not allowed on Nost?

I have been using AutoProfit since day 1 on the server. Me, you, and many other players have experienced this issue honestly. I never received any staff members contact me on my conduct at a vendor even after the disconnect in these past months so I believe it's safe to assume this isn't against the rules or an offense in any form.

I believe this is just Nostalrius Begin's anticheat ("Warden") kicking the player for mass transactions at a vendor, but I don't believe the GMs would investigate this harmless action.

Hope this brings some insight.

This sounds like a bug and should be reported on the bug tracker.

I'm not entirely sure how to report this because it doesn't seem to fit under any category. It's part of the emulator basically and there's probably a max value on how many items can be sold at one time. If you can find a way to address this issue in the bugtracker, I would love to see the max value increased.

It may fit in the 'Others' category. We shouldn't need to report how to fix it, just report the fact that it exists so they're aware of it and so that it's recorded. If they determine that it's not a problem or cannot be fixed then we'll at least have it on record.

I used such an addon in the first days but it annoyed me, i googled and found 'lazy_pig' which has many more nice options as well as auto-sell without the disconnect issue because you have to hold shift while it sells junk-by-junk.

Works flawlessly and still fast, you should try it.

You're fine picartman. I use the same addon. It's nothing more than an inconvenience. Addons are generally safe, especially those curated by the community. However keep in mind the staff generally doesn't have the time to test Addon bugs. It is incumbent upon the Addon's creator to fix the problems. However many no longer support their Addons. Perhaps a savvy programmer can take a look at Auto-Sell and see if they can fix the DC problem. I know a great many of you have AddOn programming experience.
